Bungo Stray Dogs Season- 4 Ep- 01

Just watched the episode 1 of BSD season 4 and the first thing that caught my attention was this new minor character named Tokio Murakami who shares the same Japanese voice actor with Dabi aka Touya Todoroki (My Hero Academia) - Hiro Shimono.

With MHA season 6 still on-going, I don't think my Dabi fever is going away anytime soon. 😭

I love animation, and I love voice actors. In my rewatch of HH's season one's Japanese dub, I found Vox's seiyuu's voice sounding familiar, and would find out he also voiced Twice in BNHA (which was my previous hyperfixation for 3 years). This naturally kicked my love of voice acting into overdrive and desiring to draw something I hadn't drawn since 2019, which is characters of my current hyperfixation cosplaying as other characters their VAs have voiced. In this case, I've used their Japanese seiyuus.

Adam = Oetsu Nimaiya from Bleach; VA Youji Ueda

Lucifer = Hound Dog from BNHA; VA Eiji Hanawa

Vox = Twice from BNHA; VA Daichi Endou

Alastor = Gus from FFVII: Rebirth; VA Setsuji Satou

Sir Pentious: Dekapan from Osomatsu-san; VA Youji Ueda (he did not voice Dayon, I just used that character's face for the tophat to be in the same vein of humor as Osomatsu-san)

Pentious and Adam share a seiyuu, so I chose two different characters he has voiced for them both.

Ableists need to fuck all the way off out of Kohske's orbit.

The level of ignorance and vitriol she has to regularly endure online is absolutely vile. Why? Right now it's because she has the (gasp) audacity to try and make enough money to survive via Skeb while unwell.

Just because she doesn't look how some people perceive someone with a life-altering condition apparently "should" look and she is doing commission pieces while unable to work the gruelling regular schedule of a mangaka doesn't mean she is not unwell.

I also live with autoimmune conditions so I tend to get a bit spicy when people trot this shit out about creators managing chronic illness/disability.

While I can't speak for Kohske or other artists, I will say this drawing from my own experiences: commenting negatively on the everyday life management of a chronically ill person you don't personally know is not only unnecessary, it can be extremely damaging. There is absolutely no need to put these ignorant remarks out there. Even if the creator in question doesn't see them, others will.

The internet only shows a small snapshot of most people's lives. In situations like this, it really doesn't hurt to just be kind.
